Minutes of Last Meeting
- It was agreed that the minutes of the last meeting were an accurate record.
Chairman's Report
- It has been a good year's football. We have had no retirements (through old age or injury), however, as neither Neil Chapman nor Jay Patel had played this year they are no longer members of the club.
- Dave Cropper was officially welcomed to the club.
- Thanks were extended to the Secretary and Treasurer for the smooth running of the club
- Martin is to try and arrange an 11-a-side game against the medics sometime this summer
Treasurer’s report
- The Treasurer presented his report, cash flow statement, register report and itemised category report.
- The Treasurer informed the meeting that the end of season deficit was -3.99. This is due to the fact that the cost of hire has risen from £24 to £26 per hour. It is time to raise the subs.
- It was proposed and carried that the subs be raised to £4 a week (.
- The secretary remains exempt from subs (as compensation for stress and phone calls, as well as incentive for future volunteers)

Election of officers for season 2003 / 2004
- Chairperson - Martin Islip to continue for a further season.
- Treasurer - Steve Nicholson to continue for a further season
- Secretary - Adrian Burch to continue for a further season.
Player of the season award
- The player of the season was confirmed as Geoff Moore with 5 POD awards.
- Runners-up were Adrian, Dave S. and Simon with 4.
Any other business
- A debate was raised to discuss the distance at free-kicks. The current rules (2 metres) are difficult to enforce. It was agreed (after scientific tests carried out on-site) that the distance be 2 arms (one of the attacker and one of the defender)
- It was proposed that the no. 1 in the queue come along to ref (and play in case of injury or absentee). The motion was defeated by 7-5.
- It was raised that we regularly start well after 9.00pm. Penalties were discussed to encourage members to arrive on time. It was proposed that the last man to arrive after 9.00pm should wash the shirts (and will not be credited as a wash). A vote was taken and the motion carried by 8 votes to 2.
- 3rd Sept has been earmarked for an 11-a-side against Bridge Street Church
- The meeting closed at 10:30 p.m.
Minuted by Adrian Burch, Secretary
